Ololade obtained his honours degree in law at the Univer¬sity of Nigeria Nssuka in 1983. Thereafter, he proceeded to Obafemi Awolowo University where he obtained his masters degree in Law in 1986. In 1991, Ololade obtained a certificate in Inter¬national Law from the International Court of Justice, Hague.
Ololade Salami worked with the firm of Tayo Falode & Co. in Abeokuta and thereafter worked as a graduate assistant at the Ogun State University, Ago Iwoye between 1984 and 1986. He was later promoted to and worked as lecturer II at the said University between 1986 and 1988. Between 1988 and 1990, Ololade was engaged in active private practice and from 1990 till date has been a part time lecturer II at the Lagos State University, Law Faculty, Ojo, Badagry.
